Air Travel

The Boise Airport (BOI) is a major regional travel hub served by eight primary airlines, including Alaska, Delta, United, American, Southwest, Allegiant, Spirit, and Avelo.

Travelers from the Pacific Northwest can take advantage of daily direct service from Seattle (SEA), Portland (PDX), and Spokane (GEG). Additionally, Boise provides regional connectivity with non-stop flights to Bozeman (BZN) and multiple daily direct flights to major hubs like Denver (DEN) via United and Southwest, as well as Salt Lake City (SLC) via Delta and Southwest. Most ground transportation (Rideshare, Taxis, and Shuttles) is located on the ground floor outside the baggage claim area.

Ground Transportation Options

Rideshare (Uber & Lyft)

Both Uber and Lyft operate at BOI.

  • Pickup Location: Follow the “Rideshare” signs to the second curb outside the Baggage Claim (Ground Level).
  • Estimated Cost: $15–$25 to downtown.

Taxi Service

Taxis are available at the curb 24/7 without prior reservation.

Public Transit (Valley Regional Transit)

Route 3 (Vista) runs from the airport directly to the Main Street Station, which is across the street from the Boise Centre.

Rental Cars

All major rental car brands (Hertz, Enterprise, Avis, etc.) are located in the baggage claim area on the first floor.
